Today, on last day of May, as CELBET comes to an official close, we’re not just ending an expert team. We’re marking the culmination of years of cooperation, shared experience, building strong relations and tangible results that have strengthened customs controls across the EU’s external borders.
From theoretical insights to field-based exercises – the recent Bus Search Training held in Przemyśl offered customs officers from 15 countries a unique, immersive experience aimed at improving operational skills in passenger and vehicle inspections.
CELBET Management and National Contact Points from all 11 Member States, gathered in Warsaw for their final joint meeting at the CELBET office. The two-day meeting finished today, marking an important moment for the project.
The webinar was attended by 87 customs officers from Kyiv, Odesa, Vinnitsa and Chernivtsi, and from the Department for Specialized Training and Canine Services.
