First training in CELBET Customs Control Skills Development Centre of Expertise

From 11 to 13 of October the customs control process training was organised at border crossing point in Röszke, Hungary. The training was unusual in terms of countries that took part in th event. Customs officers from Italy, Turkey, Belgium, Spain, Germany, Republic of Serbia, Cyprus, Czech Republic and Hungary participated. The trainers were from Hungary and Latvia.

It is worth emphasizing that this training is organised in the framework of the newly established Customs Control Skills Development Centre of Expertise. It is next step in building effective and tailored training system that will be efficient in changing geopolitical and economic situation.
